“On October 24th, 2020 hundreds of Nigerians gathered in front City Hall to draw awareness & to show solidarity to what was taking place in Nigeria. The demonstration was in response to the abuse of power from the Nigerian Special Anti-Robbery Squad better known as SARS.”

On Saturday Oct,24th i was honored with the opportunity to capture pictures of my Nigerian brothers and sisters gathered in solidarity for the protest of the brutality that was taking place in Nigeria. Being an African American i was appreciative to those out there that were willing to educate me on the situation that was taking place in Africa. Through photography i aim to educate, never to exploit. SARS was created in the 1990s to address crime & since then the power that was given to them has been abused. Human rights have been violated, lives have been lost & it is time to #ENDSARSNOW
