BMX
My love for BMX is alot like my love for skateboarding. I grew up in the south , and most of the kids that I grew up around didn’t use their bikes for tricks, just cruising. I used to play Dave Mirra and Matt Hoffman when I would rent games from blockbuster. I used to be mesmerized with the tricks that were done in X games. True story but not long after I bought a camera I was randomly walking around Deep Ellum on a Tuesday night , and I saw some guys in the parking lot just doing tricks talking. Went up to them and just asked if I could get some shots of them doing their thing. They were super cool and said yea , why not. They told me that they were in town for a BMX competition and were headed back home after they left Dallas. Long story short , come to find out they were all professional BMX riders for a company called Fiend BMX. Super cool dudes, they all followed me on the gram and that’s when I found out who they all were. Just goes to show , you never know who you’re going to bump into, stay organic no matter who' you’re in front of.
